All on September 17, 2022

About 7 of us met at IHOP for breakfast and left to be at Paul Ranney’s house at 830.
We left early enough for Ron, Felix, and J R to drag the square

Like always on the 3rd Saturday, the square was full of beautiful cars.

There were plenty of Corvettes and Mustangs

1939 Blue Sedan

A good place for people watching

Always a good color on an early V8

I guess the quail and step plates make it a Model A

Did you ever want to go really fast, really quick?

It was rewarding to be in a gathering of such a passionate group of folks all pulling together towards the same end. Everyone seemed genuinely glad to be there, each lending a hand to the other making light work of what would otherwise be an onerous task for the Ranney heirs.---Walter Payne

After packing up Ron's trailer with all the material from Paul's garage,
Ron and Laurie led Felix and JR down back country roads to Taylor.
We passed the Samsung construction area and on the west side were about 30 railroad cars.

On the far side of the railroad tracks were about 12 construction cranes.

Next to the Lucky Dog Cafe, there was a skateboard park.

Dennis McDaniel and son met us at the Lucky Dog along with Fred and Darleen Thompson.

This beast was probably at the Pistons on the Square, but we found him at the Lucky Dog.

After lunch, we all went to Dennis's house to view his cars and workshop.
Dennis bought a nice slant window. Only the engine compartment needed some TLC.
When you push the spark advance lever all the way up, you engage the starter.

Dennis also recently bought the Fordor which is on the left.

Fred also admires the slant windshield sedan
